My name is Carolina Little
I am an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Born in the US and raised in Mexico from the age of 2, I returned to the US at 21 to pursue my higher education.
Graduating from Arizona State in 2015 with a degree in Family and Human Development, I then worked as a Social worker for child and family agencies, including South West Human Development and Arizona’s Children Association.
In my role as a social worker, I had the honor of assisting numerous families in Arizona facing challenging situations. I worked with families striving to regain custody of their children, overcome addiction, escape domestic violence, and transition out of the foster care system.
Motivated by my experiences as a social worker, I pursued a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and began providing therapy services to individuals, children, couples, and families in 2019.
Since 2013, I have been actively engaged in training programs focused on evidence-based parenting support interventions and trauma-informed care.
Transitioning to a private practice therapist in late 2022 has further opened my eyes to the reality of access to parenting resources and therapy. I firmly believe that these resources should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income. It is unfair that individuals in the middle-income bracket are often deprived of these crucial resources, restricting their ability to break generational trauma or understand their child's development.
I am dedicated to being a resource and closing the gaps in our healthcare system. Your income should not hinder your pursuit of a better generational outcome for your family.
Drawing from my experiences as a child of an immigrant family, a woman of color, a wife, and a mother to a wonderful 2-year-old boy, I am committed to providing resources that complement your existing nurturing skills and empower you to be an expert in your family.
I am here to empower you to be the expert in your family's life.
